Chapin is known for our many fun events throughout the year, full of free snacks, fun games and much more! Chapinos have many chances to take a break from normal academic life, come down and hang out over eating, cooking, painting, movies, and much more. Munchies
Munchies is a Chapino favorite! Each week Chapinos take a break from homework and studying to enjoy free food in the War Room. Munchies are catered food from Insomnia Cookies and Dunkin Donuts to Panda Express and Sushi! Chapinos can either stop by and load up on as much as they want or hang out and chat with other residents. And again, the best part is its all free!
Cinema Club
Special To Us...
Cinema Club happens every Friday and gives Chapinos the chance to hang out, eat snacks, and watch movies! Each week, Chapinos vote on what to watch from a list of movies that follow a specific theme. Cinema Club features a variety of movies such as La La Land, Saltburn, Twilight, Hunger Games, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and much more!

Book Club
Our lovely fellows and faculty host many events throughout the year, including weekly Book Club meetinsg where Chapinos can grab tea and enjoy a book, Fellow Lunches were Chapinos can eat lunch with our fellows, or Firesides were our fellows come and teach interesting subjects to Chapinos like The World's Columbian Exposition of 1893!
RCB Events
RCB Formal
Since Chapin is a Residential College, we participate in various joint events between Residential Colleges throughout the year, such as the RCB Formal and RCB Field Day!
CHORMAL!
Chormal (Chapin Formal) is our end-of-the-year event planned by Chexec. The event is free of charge for everyone, and Chapinos have the option of bringing guests from other colleges as well. Recently, our Chormal was a night at SkyZone!
